RPO leader celebrated for their creative candidate experience strategy
LONDON – 18 December 2023 – PeopleScout was named the winner of the Candidate Experience Award at the 2023 Personnel Today Awards for their work in partnership with their client Heathrow Airport.
With overseas travel returning to normal, Heathrow has more than 80 million travellers passing through its doors each year. The role of security officer is fundamental to the smooth functioning of the airport. Heathrow, in partnership with PeopleScout, wanted to reduce the time between application and offer. The high-demand role requires a thorough pre-employment process, traditionally taking many weeks from beginning to end. PeopleScout re-engineered the process so that it was completely virtual, enabling candidates to get through screening, interview and assessment in just a few days. The recruitment process is now more scalable, and since the time of the enhancements, Heathrow has processed approximately 90,000 applications, with the overwhelming majority of candidates giving positive feedback on the candidate experience.
