Talking Talent: A Message from PeopleScout Interim President Chip Holmes

Right now, as we deal with the COVID-19 crisis, we are in uncertain times. We are focused on the safety of our employees and clients, friends, families and loved ones. However, it is important for many organisations to keep their talent acquisition functions moving – whether to provide essential services or to serve our communities by providing jobs. In that spirit, we are sharing a message from PeopleScout Interim President Chip Holmes about what we are doing at PeopleScout.

Nicole Fuqua: This is Nicole Fuqua, the host of Talking Talent with PeopleScout.

The world has changed a lot since the last time we spoke, so I’m here today with a different message than usual.

This isn’t a regular Talking Talent episode. I am in your feed because we are in uncertain times. We are all focused on the safety of our employees and clients, friends, families and loved ones. However, it is important for many organisations to keep their talent acquisition functions moving – whether to provide essential services or to serve our communities by providing jobs. In that spirit, I want to share a message from PeopleScout Interim President Chip Holmes about what we are doing at PeopleScout.

Chip Holmes: Hi everyone, it’s Chip Holmes.

In these unprecedented times, I wanted share how PeopleScout is responding to the coronavirus.

First and foremost, we are taking a people-first approach because the health and well-being of our employees and clients around the globe is our top priority – nothing is more important than your safety.

Our coronavirus response team is closely monitoring the situation and is continuing to adjust and evolve our internal policies in alignment with global, country and local health organisations as the situation evolves.

We are providing our employees with easy access to information on how to work safely, ready answers to their questions and immediate support for any issues.

We have enacted work from home policies on a location by location basis and are ensuring that our employees have both the equipment and the support they need. And, for employees working in offices, we have implemented enhanced environmental hygiene measures and we continue to reinforce best practices for prevention for all employees.

We have implemented a travel ban for international and non-essential domestic travel as well as self-quarantine requirements for everyone who has traveled to high-risk countries or who has had potential exposure.

We remain committed to delivering excellent service through this situation. To that end, we continue to conduct exercises to ensure our readiness to implement our regional business continuity plans and client-specific protocols. We are monitoring this real-time and plans are being adjusted as the situation evolves.

We are also offering virtual interview solutions to support clients who have enacted no-contact hiring, we are ready with recruiter-on-demand solutions and can support contingent staffing needs through our MSP practice and our PeopleReady staffing brand.

In the spirit of transparency, we have developed our coronavirus response center to provide up-to-date information on PeopleScout’s response to coronavirus and useful information for managing through these uncertain times.

If you are interested in learning more about our response to the coronavirus, please read our complete coronavirus response statement which is available on our website.

In closing, we are very thankful for your partnership, we are all in this together and PeopleScout is here to help!
